Ryo in a car accident yesterday.

"A J-pop idol singer caused a minor traffic accident on the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway on Sunday afternoon, according to police. Nishikido Ryo (24), a member of popular Johnny's Jimusho idol group NEWS, was driving his car on the highway through the center of the city when he hit another car at the tail end of a traffic jam at the Roppongi on-ramp. That car then also hit the one in front, causing minor damage. A 60-year-old woman in the middle car suffered injuries to her neck and is expected to be in the hospital for a week. Nishikido later visited her to offer his apologies. A Johnny's spokesperson said that the singer was alone in his car on his day off, and he says he was not paying attention to the road ahead at the time of the accident. The talent agency said Nishikido had been sternly reprimanded and had volunteered to give up driving for the foreseeable future, but they added it was unlikely the incident would have any impact on his showbiz career. Police are expected to file papers with the prosecutor's office. "

Mmm..so he has agreed to stop driving for 6 months. I'm glad Johhny is not taking any actions. Remember what happened to Goro of SMAP? He was suspended for a while because of the accident he caused a few years ago. But what happening in Ryo's case is small, I think. The women only suffered minir injuries at her neck. And Ryo was kind enough to visit her at the hospital yesterday~

BUT..whats wierd is that..what on earth is a 60 year old women driving in Roppongi area at 3.45am!!! Someone please tell me...~

and..another thing is, fans are fussing about the report itself not the accident! If you watch yesterday's news on Oha-yon (NTV), Mezanyu (Fuji), Yajirama PLUS (TV Asahi) and a couple of news on today's paper..you'll notice that all the reporters mentioned Ryo Nishikido from NEWS. None even mentioned Kanjani8. and I don't know why people are making a big fuss out of it! I mean..you're suppose to be happy they didn't mention Kanjani8 right not the other way round.

Ryo is famous, so I think people tend to make a big deal out of the accident. He really didn't have to suspend his driving license, really. Its just a minor accident. But since it happened at 3.45am in Roppongi (were the night life exist in Tokyo), I just hope he didn't drink and drive.

and I have one more thing to add...WHAT HAPPENED TO THE RUMOURED DRAMA ROLE? He's suppose to be in a drama about driving school~ I guess..its out of the question then? So much irony tho~ HAHA!

This news actually turns out to be really funny. I was a bout to have a heart attack when people mention he was involve in an accident. But then somehow in the end..it turns out Ryo+failure=funny! Yeahhh....Right! xDDD
